Fountain Valley,CA (January, 2012) – MEDL Mobile Holdings, Inc. an incubator and aggregator of mobile technology, announced today the launch of “Britannica Kids: U.S. Presidents,” its first mobile application developed for Encyclopaedia Britannica. This partnership was brokered by JRL Group, Inc., Encyclopaedia Britannica’s brand licensing agency. MEDL has developed and is developing more than 50 unique mobile apps for customers such as Monster.com, Emirates Airline, Medtronic and Telefonica.
MEDL Mobile’s patent-pending recommendation engine technology provides mobile users with statistically significant and intelligent app recommendations. Recommendations are based on the user’s “mobile lifestyle:” their mobile habits and interests based on hundreds of data points about that individual user. This powerful recommendation engine facilitates discovery of applications that users did not even know they would have an interest in, and prevents them from having to search for such apps, stimulating interest and engagement in new mobile apps.
